Inverse Kinematic Animation with DUIK in After Effects
In this course, I teach how to use the IK rigging plugin DUIK for After Effects. This powerful plugin allows you to animate characters using IK functionality quickly and easily. I created all the background assets to go along with the character design done by Alex Hernandez. He also created a course detailing the steps to his character design.
Throughout the course I cover:
- Setting up and rigging the character both manually and automatically
- Tips for creating a walk cycle
- Different methods for adding background elements
- Looping your animations
- Transitioning from one type of animation to another while using the looping expression
By the end of this course, learners know how to manually rig a character as well as use the automatic functions for less complex characters.
